“Her voice encompasses the full spectrum: quiet and clear, tremulously tearful, decisively rasping or reaching to a scream”The New York Times

Brandi Carlile has officially announced a new leg of summer tour dates supporting her Grammy® nominated album The Firewatcher’s Daughter, many co-headlining with fellow ATO label mates and Americana folk legends Old Crow Medicine Show. Watch + share her cover of Old Crow Medicine Show’s “Sweet Home” below.

“Those boys don’t put on a show, they throw a party!” Carlile said of touring with Old Crow. “That’s the way I want to spend my summer – throwing a party for our crowd with all my buddies.”

Tonight, Brandi + the twins will be performing “Mainstream Kid” on Late Night with Seth Meyers, a rollicking track that she has never before performed on late night television.

Additional upcoming tour dates include a performance at Madison Square Garden with The Avett Brothers and festival sets at Forecastle, New Orleans Jazz + Heritage Festival, MerleFest, Festival D’Été de Quebec, Montreal Jazz Festival, and Ottawa’s RBC Bluesfest.

On tour Carlile will be performing many tracks from The Firewatcher’s Daughter, an album that earned her first Grammy® nomination and is her highest charting album to date, reaching the top 10 in the Billboard 200.

This spring Carlile will also release a live 12″ exclusively for Record Store Day featuring performances from her session at KCRW’s ‘Morning Becomes Eclectic’. Tracks include “Wherever Is Your Heart”, “The Things I Regret” and a cover of The Avett Brothers’ “Murder in the City”. Full track list, album art and tour dates are below.
