TORONTO, ON – March 28, 2017 – Cadence Music Group is excited to announce the expansion of their A&R team and is pleased to welcome Matt Vlahovich as their new A&R Manager. The new hire is a continued investment in Cadence Music Group’s dedication to bringing new and diverse talent into their roster. Matt, reporting to CEO Iain Taylor, will work alongside Andy Hawke and Cole Stephenson. Cole will be expanding his role outside his own label, Physical Presents, to oversee the Cadence Music Group A&R team.
Vlahovich will bring a fresh perspective to Cadence Music. His experience includes being the lead singer of Young Empires who’s eight year run saw them receive three MMVA nominations, as well as a JUNO nomination in 2016 for Group of the Year. Not only does he bring experience as a successful musician, he also brings his skills in marketing and communications from previous jobs at Accenture and the U.S. Department of Commerce. He is a creative and strategic thinker with a deep understanding brand development and marketing and will prove to be a great asset to the Cadence Music Group team. Matt’s first day will be this Friday and he will join the rest of the Cadence Music Group team at The JUNO’s in Ottawa.
