“…a 10-track throwback effort that blends 1950s rock, love-struck lyrics and youthful energy…” – Toronto Life
Ferraro are 3 brothers with a natural knack for writing catchy hooks, energetic lives shows and stellar covers. Which leads us to their newest video for their rendition of Elle King’s smash single, Ex’s and Oh’s. The band share; “Covering this song is step one in our master plan of meeting Rob Schneider.” The new video premiered on AMBY this morning and was captured by Mitch Fillion, from Southern Souls. Ferraro hit up a garage to create a visually fun take on the track. The band recently dropped their debut record, Losing Sleep, on April 29th with Cadence Music, and will be stopping in Montreal tonight at Casa Del Popolo and Ottawa on Thursday at Zaphods.
Hear a toe-tapping, finger-snapping, sing-along inducing ride with the first single (and title track) below. The album is available to order or stream now at: http://bit.ly/1Omvkjl; and limited editon flexi discs for a series of the songs will be available offstage.
Looking back is a fitting way to describe their sound. It’s 50’s inspired and yet it’s inherently modern. They clash, bang and grit it out, with a melodic tone that is reminiscent of The Beatles and The Strokes. Their 10-song debut record, Losing Sleep, encompasses all those aspects and sticks in your head – it’s catchy as hell. Guillermo Subauste engineered and mixed; with production credits shared between the band and Don Kerr, and mastering by Joao Carvalho. A lot of heart and soul went into this bad-boy.
“Losing Sleep proves to be particularly contagious and it certainly makes you want to see them on stage” – Musicomania
“A multi-genre influenced record, Losing Sleep combines tight hooks, catchy vocals and sassy guitars for an impressive first album.” – Canadian Beats
