Bonnell’s second full-length album, Magnolia, is a gorgeous, introspective collection of songs that demonstrate an artist at the top of her game” – Exclaim!

Toronto, ON – January 10, 2017 – Singer-songwriter Megan Bonnell is set to head out on an east coast tour this March alongside Great Lake Swimmers. Kicking off in Montreal on March 22, the tour will also take them to Fredericton, St. John, Halifax and more. In anticipation of the upcoming dates, Bonnell has released a delightful acoustic video performance for her song Anna off her most recent album Magnolia (Cadence Music).

Filmed by Sourthern Souls’ Mitch Fillion at  Joshua Van Tassels  Dream Date Studio , the video captures an intimate performance that fans can expect to see at a live show. Megan is joined by  Van Tassel gracing both the soundboard and the drum kit, along with fellow musicians Chris Stringer (guitar), Bret Higgins (bass), and  Michael Eckert (pedal steel).

Bonnell released her debut album Hunt And Chase in October 2013 on Nevado Records. She has toured Spain with John Grant, opened for Passenger at BIME Live festival (Bilbao, Spain) and performed at Barcelona Jazz Festival and The End festival (London, UK). She also did a full North American tour supporting Justin Nozuka, and has played at noteworthy summer festivals across North America such as Taste of Toronto, Field Trip Music Festival, CBC Music Festival and Gateway Festival. In 2016, she joined Jordan Klassen on a spring tour, and most recently supported Great Lake Swimmers on their cross-Canada fall tour.
