“Sean is a musical mutant after my own heart” Les Claypool says of his new collaborator Sean Lennon. Their two worlds have collided, fusing their abstract talents into a project called The Claypool Lennon Delirium, whose efforts thus far have spawned the full-length release Monolith of Phobos, available today on CD and gold coloured 2LP. Hitch, the extraordinary new album from Welsh alternative rock group The Joy Formidable, is out today. Self-produced by the band, and mixed by the legendary Alan Moulder, the new release showcases the evolution of the trio’s sound and musicianship. Watch the NSFW video for the first single “The Last Thing On My Mind”Smino, the St. Louis rapper who has been spending time in Chicago where he met and formed his Zero Fatigue collective (Smino, Monte Booker and Ravyn Lenae) has re-released his break out EP blkjuptr which has only been available on Soundcloud until now. To celebrate the digital release Smino has dropped a video for the title track off the EP.
