NEW ALBUM

POETRY IN MOTION

OUT OCTOBER 27 ON ATO RECORDS

TORONTO, ON – September 19, 2017  – SOJA, the eight piece reggae supergroup, have unveiled “Fire In The Sky” – the poignant new track from their forthcoming album Poetry in Motion, out October 27th on ATO Records. The song comes paired with a cosmically inspired, da Vinci-esque lyric video – watch here via Huffington Post, who praise its “addictive melody and lyrics that speak to you on a deeper level than you can explain”.

The band’s new album hears the group going back to their roots – pulling everything from Latin music, DC Hardcore, go-go, rock and hip-hop into their signature reggae sound. Recorded in Dave Matthews’ studio in Charlottesville, near where the band got their start, the new music digs deeper than ever into their message of finding peace amidst our turbulent times. Timely lead single “Bad News” has already racked up over 1.3 million Spotify plays since its release, listen here.

The band celebrates their 20th anniversary this year, after playing nearly every major festival (including Bonnaroo), touring with Dave Matthews Band, Incubus, 311 + more, and racking over 300M YouTube views and 2 Grammy nominations. They just wrapped up an extensive US tour – including a sold out show at the iconic Red Rock Amphitheatre – and have announced a new run of spring dates including stops in Toronto and Montreal, in addition to a benefit show for the Heal Charlottesville Fund later next month.
